About the role

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of the S&OE process across the business unit(s).
  • Use proven leadership and change management skills to drive improvements in business performance related to inventory investment, on-time delivery performance, domestic/international freight expense, resource/capacity utilization and customer service initiatives
  • Drive the implementation and advancement of the Woodward material flow strategy, processes, and technology stack.
  • Key liaison between Supply Chain Planning team and the IBP transformation team, and will be an integral part of the S4 Hanna (SAP) implementation program
  • Make strategic recommendations for dynamic reconfiguration of the supply chain operating model to yield improvements in contribution margin and free cash flow.
  • Drive consensus between cross-functional groups and leaders. Ensure alignment and cascade of information, decision and actions; responsible for driving completion of identified actions with responsible stakeholder.
  • Support Planning organization in what-if scenario analysis. Validate and sign-off on scenario analysis and provide sufficient detail on cost / service / inventory tradeoffs behind each proposal; drive detailed and rigorous analysis to support decisions.
  • May manage short-term projects or detailed analyses (including the coordination of cross-functional teams) in support of IBP process and SAP implementation.
  • Participate and support developing and materializing the company’s supply chain strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of related experience in SIOP and demand or supply planning function
  • 5+ years of related supply chain analytics experience
  • Deep knowledge of SIOP, demand planning and supply planning
  • Experience with Demand Planning and SIOP modules within an ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
  • Strong managerial and organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
  • Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain and Sales stakeholders
  • Executive presence and comfortable presenting and working with VP, SVP and C-level stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel domestically (20% +).
