About the role
- Conduct regular site meetings
- Oversee contractors on site
- Monitor, evaluate, and report progress against construction schedule
- Ensure quality of the work and deficiency identification and correction
- Collaborate to identify required material and equipment
- Ensure safety and security of site
- Regular progress reporting
- Identify change requests
- Communicating with stakeholders where required
- Ensure environmental and quality control protection requirements are carried out
- Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables
- Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with quality standards
- Management receiving activities of materials and equipment.
- Review construction documents and submittals
- Prepare Reports
Requirements
- Currently authorized to work in USA without sponsorship from Wood
- Minimum of three (5) years of work experience in brownfield construction.
- Preference for ten (10) years field experience in an industrial environment
- Experience in Data Centers is highly desirable.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in document creation and editing (Microsoft Office Products such as Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills are necessary in order to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing requirements to a wide range of client groups (internal and external)
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, or in a team environment, and provide leadership, support, direction, and consultation.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel, participate in activities, network and build relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to organize, analyze and report on various parameters and data sets.
- Ability to proactively detect challenges to safety, quality, cost and schedule that will ensure development and execution of effective prevention, mitigation, or corrective actions.
- Able to establish and maintain a positive and effective customer relationship, ensuring payment terms are met, and communicating any delays.
- Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with timelines/targets.
