About the role

  • Responsible for Electrical Power System studies and Electrical activities in the design, development and implementation of electrical systems for Pre FEED, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects
  • Ensure the work is in accordance with design standards and codes whilst co-ordinating with the rest of the project engineering teams
  • Develop, prepare, review and deliver design deliverables and packages
  • Carry out Power System Studies using speciality software like ETAP or equivalent

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree within the Electrical Engineering field or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience in engineering and design
  • Must have experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software and all Microsoft office
  • Must have Pre FEED, FEED, EPC and EPCm project experience including carrying out Power System Studies and driving project decisions based on study recommendations
  • Engineer must be familiar with NEC, IEEE / ANSI, IEC and other International electrical standards, best practices and value practices
  • Thorough knowledge of the English language is required to perform the necessary in depth analysis and studies, make professional presentations and keep up with technical advancements
  • Experience of technical management of Third party Power system study consultants
