Set up data base, structure, methods, and practices to use Primavera P6 as a scheduling tool for the site location.
Prepare Primavera P6 resource loaded schedules supporting various stages of a project as part of the site team.
Train a site-based team on how to use P6 effectively in scheduling for site-based outages, capital projects, maintenance activities, etc.
Identify labor and time requirements by discussing the scope, specifications, and related information with site team members and others and train the site team on this process.
Monitor forecast and actual spending as a means of improving the scheduling process and train the site team on this practice.
Use work breakdown structures, construction packages, and other information as part of the development of schedules including scheduling logic and critical paths.
Evaluate schedule progress and performance and communicate that to the site team.
Recognize and address schedule issues when they arise.
Take reasonable care of your own health & safety and of others and co-operate with Wood’s and client’s HSSE requirements.
Requirements
Twenty (20) or more years of relevant scheduling experience including job planning, and experience building resource loaded schedules for turnarounds, capital projects, maintenance, or other plant site-based activities.
Practical applied experience in project, turnaround, or outage scheduling, preferably associated with projects or outages implemented in chemical or refining facilities.
Exceptional experience with Primavera’s P6 scheduling system.
Experience using Microsoft Project.
Good experience and skill set in the use of Microsoft’s suite of office products.
Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.
