About the role
- Responsible for the development of Process Control requirements for projects which includes: Control and Operating Philosophy, Cause and Effects charts, Process Control Narratives, HAZOP and general control requirements
- Develop and update Process Control Technical work practices in line with industrial standards.
- Be responsible for the co-ordination and progress of process control design for one or more projects, as assigned.
- Liaise with Suppliers’ representatives and other departments on all matters relating to process control design for assigned projects.
- Carryout Dynamic Simulation & surge Analysis Studies.
- Provide technical support to sales activities.
- Provide consultancy after contract award with Client in assessing or assisting in the definition of process control user requirements.
- Provide support to control system factory acceptance test at supplier’s site.
- Provide site assistance at start-up, with process control issues during commissioning and hand over to client.
Requirements
- Chemical Engineering degree (minimum), (Chartered Engineer status is highly beneficial)
- A good amount of experience within a contractor, operator, consultancy or other relevant organisation
- A self-motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proof of work on approved technical investigation projects and computer programs
