About the role
- Wood is recruiting a Senior Process Architect to join its Life Sciences (Biotechnology / Pharmaceuticals) team
- Develop life-changing and often life‑saving solutions for clients and support growth of Wood's Life Sciences sector
- Collaborate with global Life Science teams in Melbourne and Milan and coordinate with Process Engineering
- Provide Process Architecture expertise, planning, programming, feasibility and concept design expertise
- Mentor and lead the architectural design team through all phases of design and may serve as Architect of Record
- Support sales, participate in industry forums, cultivate client relationships, and stay up to date with industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture (5-year program) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from an accredited NAAB university
- Architectural licensure and NCARB certification are required
- More than 15 years of applicable experience in facility design and planning
- Industry expert in Process Architecture with proven track record of success
- Expert knowledge of building codes, construction processes and specification writing
- Expert knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements including Annex 1 implementation strategies
- Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft Office & Sketchup
- Flexibility to travel (~10%) is required
- International experience is a plus
