About the role

  • Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that directly impact strategic decision-making and drive business growth
  • Execute advanced analyses, improve reporting processes, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to address critical business challenges
  • Build and maintain a connected ecosystem of dashboards and reports across platforms such as Tableau and Redash
  • Collaborate with leaders to address business challenges, providing insightful analysis to help them understand the financial implications of their strategies and decisions
  • Take ownership of preparing, tracking, monitoring and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular, recurring cadence
  • Design and implement financial models to support key strategic initiatives across various departments
  • Establish, document, and maintain a 'Source of Truth' for company-wide metrics and drive consistency in metric definitions, data sources, and reporting methodologies
  • Look for opportunities to improve data processes, enhance reporting efficiency, and increase the overall impact of analytical outputs
  • Act as a mentor for junior analysts, helping them to refine their skills and grow within the role.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Data, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with data modeling, cleaning, and transformation best practices
  • Exposure to Python for data analysis, modeling & automation, analysis, and data pipeline optimization is preferred
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and forecasting is a plus
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, financial modeling, and operational metrics
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, adept at presenting data insights to diverse audiences including executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to influence business decisions by translating complex data into accessible and actionable information for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
