About the role
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Collaboration, Workplace & PAAS, aligning with Waste Management's long-term goals and ensuring seamless integration with other technology and business initiatives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of robust and scalable Collaboration, Workplace & PAAS services, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and manage relationships with key vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Ensure that all Collaboration, Workplace & PAAS solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for security, privacy, and data protection.
- Develop and manage the budget for Collaboration, Workplace & PAAS initiatives, optimizing costs while achieving desired outcomes.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and reporting systems to track the performance and health of Collaboration, Workplace & PAAS solutions, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to understand their needs and ensure that Collaboration, Workplace & PAAS support their requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Collaboration or PAAS solutions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing those teams.
- In-depth knowledge of voice services, collaboration solutions (M365), and AV technologies.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage complex projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Finance or similar area of study or, in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Eight (8) years of prior work experience (in addition to education requirement) within Information Technology
