About the role

  • Directs the development and execution of strategic plans and proposal development to secure environmental service contracts for Government, Educational and Federal facilities.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key political and community leaders.
  • Develop, coach and manage Sr Account Executives and other professional staff.
  • Oversee education and community outreach activities including campaigns.
  • Oversee audit and revenue management process of existing contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Communications, Political Science, Economics, or similar area of study, or High School Diploma GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.
  • 7 years previous applicable experience in government relations, outside sales, public service, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in business or public administration (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Previous experience including at least three (3) years managing a team of two or more individuals.
  • Ten years of prior experience working in the solid waste industry and strong knowledge of collection, disposal, recycle processing and other environmental solutions.
