About the role
- Generate revenue using a consultative selling approach in the sale of WM services to small/medium business customers
- Generate own sales leads through cold calling campaigns, lead source generation, and referrals
- Act on warm leads while primarily sourcing new prospects
- Conduct research on prospects and perform pre-sales activities to understand customer needs and prepare for sales calls
- Present WM products and services, communicate value proposition, and differentiate WM offerings
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, overcome objections, and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions
- Finalize sales agreements with actions and commitments for next steps
- Conduct post-sale administrative work to ensure product/service implementation is successful
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
- 1 year of relevant work experience required
- Must live within 50 miles of the Phoenix business unit
- Ability to generate sales leads through cold calling, lead source generation, and referrals
- Experience with consultative selling, negotiating, and closing sales
- Ability to meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals
- Ability to conduct pre-sales research and prepare for sales calls
- Ability to perform post-sale administrative work to ensure successful implementation

- Must have or be willing to obtain REAL ID if travel to federal property or air travel is required
