About the role

  • Cover Eastern Indianapolis territory in a hybrid capacity with occasional office visits
  • Responsible for prospecting and closing sales to new customers to achieve budgeted sales goals
  • Develop and implement sound selling strategies ensuring revenue growth
  • Manage existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales and price goals
  • Handle all customer cancellation requests and provide ongoing education on contract details
  • Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts
  • Initiate B2B sales relationships and ensure active prospect development
  • Execute sound plans on retention calls to improve customer service and profitability
  • Work closely with Plant Managers and Area Sales Managers to resolve customer issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relative work experience
  • 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and phone based business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments (in addition to education requirement)
  • Preferred: Recent experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC)
