About the role
- Cover Eastern Indianapolis territory in a hybrid capacity with occasional office visits
- Responsible for prospecting and closing sales to new customers to achieve budgeted sales goals
- Develop and implement sound selling strategies ensuring revenue growth
- Manage existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales and price goals
- Handle all customer cancellation requests and provide ongoing education on contract details
- Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts
- Initiate B2B sales relationships and ensure active prospect development
- Execute sound plans on retention calls to improve customer service and profitability
- Work closely with Plant Managers and Area Sales Managers to resolve customer issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relative work experience
- 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and phone based business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments (in addition to education requirement)
- Preferred: Recent experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC)
