About the role

  • Lead supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • Mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes, through contract agreements.
  • Identify and facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to support project goals and foster collaboration.
  • Perform supplier performance reviews, feedback, and issue resolution.
  • Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives within the region.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects and supplier performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data on project outcomes and supplier metrics to Area Leadership and Corporate Supply Chain Directors on a quarterly basis.
  • Present findings and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories, leveraging volume and spend to maximize value.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Strategic Sourcing Managers and Area Procurement Managers to align area initiatives with enterprise objectives.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and enhance contract compliance.
  • Work closely with other ASCMs, functional subject matter experts, and business units to share best practices and drive value chain improvements.
  • Participate in special projects and activities that enhance the effectiveness of the supply chain department.
  • Align with area site leadership to identify cost savings and project management opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Five years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
