About the role
- Lead supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
- Mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes, through contract agreements.
- Identify and facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to support project goals and foster collaboration.
- Perform supplier performance reviews, feedback, and issue resolution.
- Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives within the region.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects and supplier performance.
- Collect, analyze, and report data on project outcomes and supplier metrics to Area Leadership and Corporate Supply Chain Directors on a quarterly basis.
- Present findings and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories, leveraging volume and spend to maximize value.
- Collaborate with Corporate Strategic Sourcing Managers and Area Procurement Managers to align area initiatives with enterprise objectives.
- Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and enhance contract compliance.
- Work closely with other ASCMs, functional subject matter experts, and business units to share best practices and drive value chain improvements.
- Participate in special projects and activities that enhance the effectiveness of the supply chain department.
- Align with area site leadership to identify cost savings and project management opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: Five years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
