About the role
- Engages, directs, and manages professional consulting firms at solid waste facilities
- Maintains a strong working relationship with regulators
- Manages landfill construction projects
- Actively manages and tracks capital budgets
- Coordinates landfill capacity tracking
- Provides continuous evaluation of sites for adherence to construction and permit documents
- Collaborates with other professionals within WM to provide innovative engineering solutions
- Participates in review of acquisitions and coordination evaluation of divestitures
- Assists in training and provides mentorship of WM technical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or similar area of study
- 5 years of related experience
