About the role

  • Develops and leads a comprehensive state and local government affairs program
  • Provides information related to legislative, regulatory and government activities
  • Performs legislative advocacy activities including direct lobbying
  • Represents the company at state fundraising events
  • Supports local key expansion projects
  • Identifies emerging policy issues and evaluates impact
  • Calls upon state agency officials and staff to discuss current issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Affairs/Relations, Business Administration or similar area of study
  • 7 years to ten or more years previous government affairs
  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Political Science, Public Affairs/Relations, Business Administration or similar area of study, preferred
