About the role
- Develops and leads a comprehensive state and local government affairs program
- Provides information related to legislative, regulatory and government activities
- Performs legislative advocacy activities including direct lobbying
- Represents the company at state fundraising events
- Supports local key expansion projects
- Identifies emerging policy issues and evaluates impact
- Calls upon state agency officials and staff to discuss current issues
- Ensures compliance with campaign finance and lobbying/ethics laws
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Affairs/Relations, Business Administration or similar area of study
- 7 years to ten or more years previous government affairs
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Political Science, Public Affairs/Relations, Business Administration or similar area of study, preferred
