About the role

  • Support and advise an existing regional customer base and acquire new concept customers
  • Consult on and develop concepts for exterior signage and interior design of customers' sales areas and workshops
  • Provide service- and technically-oriented consultation and support to existing regional customers and acquire new customers
  • Set up and demonstrate the company's workshop programs/workshop software at customer sites
  • Sell commercial ERP/inventory management systems and vehicle-specific parts catalogs
  • Independently plan and conduct customer appointments
  • Implement concept modules and company objectives, as well as sales promotion offers for concept partners
  • Review and distribute sales documentation and clients' advertising materials
  • Plan, organize and execute sales events to increase customer retention and acquisition
  • Organize customer and employee training sessions
  • Maintain regular coordination with colleagues in field sales
  • Participate in WM workshop trade shows

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial training, preferably in the automotive sector or IT
  • Several years of professional experience in automotive parts wholesale with customer contact is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of product ranges and an understanding of market and customer needs
  • Strong communication skills and a strong customer focus, with a consistently friendly and professional manner
  • Persuasiveness and negotiation skills
  • Good written and spoken German
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Driver's license class B (formerly class 3)
