About the role
- Cover institutional investors across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) for With Intelligence
- File at least four proprietary news articles per week, including off-diary exclusives
- Pitch and produce agenda-setting stories on the strategies, plans, and preferences of DACH institutional investors and other asset owners
- Conduct regular interviews with CIOs, heads of investment, heads of manager research, and other senior industry figures
- Build and maintain a robust network of high-level sources across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams as well as external PR and communications contacts
- Represent With Intelligence at key industry conferences, summits, and investor meetings
- Take ownership of subject matter expertise in hedge funds, private markets, and institutional investing—supported by training and development
Requirements
- A proven track record of delivering exclusive stories, ideally in financial or business journalism
- Strong knowledge of the asset management industry and institutional investors, with particular focus on the DACH region
- Excellent sourcing skills and the ability to cultivate senior-level contacts
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly motivated self-starter, confident working independently and under deadline pressure
- Team player who values collaboration and constructive feedback
- Analytical mindset and confidence working with data
- German language skills are preferred but not essential
