About the role
- Build and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems from scratch
- Lead full cycle recruiting to attract and hire top talent
- Design and manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Develop and maintain a strong, positive company culture
- Handle employee relations, feedback, and conflict resolution
- Create and maintain performance management and employee development programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage compensation, benefits, and equity programs
- Process domestic semi-monthly and international payroll monthly
- Support leadership with organizational planning and scaling strategies
- Oversee HR tools, systems via Resourcing Edge with employee data
- Events planning as needed
- Provide employee coaching
Requirements
- Experience scaling a company or building HR from scratch, 0-1 experience
- Familiarity with startup compensation structures
- Experience with modern HR tools (Lever, LinkedIn, Resourcing Edge etc.)
- Experience working with AI tools
- 5 plus years of experience
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong recruiting and talent assessment
- Culture building and employee engagement
- Decision-making in ambiguous environments
