About the role

  • Own and execute email marketing strategy
  • Lead the planning and execution of email campaigns and lifecycle communications aligned to broader marketing and commercial objectives.
  • Develop lifecycle and automation strategies
  • Design and implement scalable, multi-stage customer journeys, including automated workflows, nurture streams, and triggered communications.
  • Audience segmentation and personalisation
  • Leverage SFMC data extensions and Contact Builder to create targeted audience segments that improve relevance, engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Build and optimise campaigns and journeys
  • Develop, QA, schedule, and deploy email campaigns and automated journeys using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Testing and performance optimisation
  • Drive a structured test-and-learn approach through A/B testing across content, timing, segmentation, and journey logic to continuously improve performance.
  • Performance reporting and insights
  • Analyse campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions, deliverability, engagement trends) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Cross-functional campaign planning
  • Own and manage the email marketing calendar, working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure aligned and effective campaign delivery.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, ideally within financial services environment
  • Strong, practical experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder and Contact Builder
  • Proven experience building and optimising automated email journeys and lifecycle campaigns
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalisation, and lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimisation methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of email deliverability best practices and performance metrics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
