Lead and execute end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, including custom application development and integrations.
Design and develop ServiceNow integrations via Workflows, Scripted Rest Endpoints, and Scheduled Jobs with external systems using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub spokes.
Define data schemas for new tables, ensuring proper preferences, naming conventions and other best practices.
Create ACLs and Roles for access security of newly created applications and tables
Create business rules, scheduled jobs, client side scripts and other platform customizations
Apply ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) skills to configure and customize modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and others.
Conduct requirements gathering sessions, document detailed functional and technical requirements, and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
Develop and maintain Service Catalogs, Knowledge Bases, and other core ServiceNow components.
Collaborate with architects to design scalable and maintainable solutions, including data governance and foundational data models.
Provide technical assessments, documentation, and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization in collaboration with ServiceNow administrators.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and standards.
Advise on technical architecture, risks, and impacts to business processes.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including custom applications and integrations.
Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request modules.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow data structures, table relationships, and data governance.
Experience with IntegrationHub, custom spokes, and external system integrations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience.
ServiceNow ITSM Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and preferably one additional CIS.
