About the role
- IT support & user assistance: Provide technical support to colleagues for hardware and software issues — on-site or remotely
- System installation & device maintenance: Install, configure and maintain Apple products
- System maintenance & administration: Maintain and manage internal systems and user accounts
- Infrastructure: Ensure a stable, secure and high-performance IT operation
- Change management: Support the rollout of new systems and processes
- Documentation & processes: Create and update technical guides and documentation
- Collaboration & coordination: Closely coordinate with external service providers and other service areas
- Cross-site support: Support teams at the Aachen, Berlin and Cologne locations
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT or solid practical experience in the IT field
- Ability to work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and network technologies
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern cloud services
- Ideally experience with macOS and creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud
- Ability to communicate changes clearly and actively guide colleagues through new tools and processes
- Willingness to occasionally visit other locations to provide on-site support
