About the role
- Be a key contributor to the core Flowise platform, working across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure to deliver features
- Design and develop new features for the Flowise application; write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
- Implement features across open-source, cloud, and enterprise versions of the product and stay current with industry trends
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across departments to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Proactively identify and resolve issues within the software to ensure optimal functionality
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with our core stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and React
- 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS, along with a solid understanding of data modeling
- Experience working on both frontend and backend systems, even in side projects
- Successful track record of operating effectively within fast-paced, cross-functional teams
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Resourceful and comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing to solutions through reasoning and research
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including automated testing, observability, and CI/CD
- Experience with Docker is a plus
