About the role
- Work with Workday implementation projects, focusing on the most strategic and complex Financials projects
- Collaborate closely with the client’s project team to ensure successful deployments of Workday integration products, tools, and services
- Architect, design, and manage integration deliverables associated with multiple Workday implementation projects
- Use deep knowledge of integration technologies and service-oriented architecture design principles to produce solutions
- Lead project teams through integration discovery and scoping phases of implementation projects
- Engage where appropriate in the sales cycle to help scope integration projects
- Provide consultative support and mentor junior level consultants on projects
- Coordinate deliverable schedules and provide guidance to clients or service partners on integration strategies
- Proactively share knowledge with teammates and surface implementation/process related challenges to leadership with suggested improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years demonstrated integration or technical experience in Financials ERP related domains (General Ledger, Banking, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Accounts Receivable)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in architecture, Design and Build integration solutions using any of these technical tools: Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, XSLT, PeopleSoft's PeopleCode, SAP's ABAP, Java, JavaScript, .NET, C++, SQL, Other Financial ERP technology, Other Middleware technology
- Minimum 4+ years with the ability to consult as an Advisory or Architect on customer implementations
- Financial Integration Consultant: Minimum 3+ years demonstrated integration or technical experience in Financials ERP related domains
- Financial Integration Consultant: Minimum 3 years’ experience in architecture, Design and Build integration solutions using tools listed above
- Extensive knowledge managing small teams of Integration Consultants on multiple projects simultaneously and mentor/coach the teams on Integration best practices
- Deep knowledge of service-oriented architecture design principals, common ERP Financial integration design patterns, and phased implementation methodologies
- Consultative approach to customers and history of successful integration deployments
- Coordinate assigned deliverable schedules to ensure client’s timelines are met
- Ability to provide guidance to clients or service partners on integration strategies
- Ability to engage in the sales cycle to help scope integration projects
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – preferable in Finance or Accounting
