About the role
- Assist in implementing and managing Medicaid programs as outlined by the Leadership team
- Develop, implement, and maintain documentation to support daily operations
- Manage a team of field operators
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid contracts in Michigan
- Support Community Engagement Specialists and Leads as they run the Connect For Life program
- Organize onboarding and on-the-job training for Community Engagement Specialists and Leads
- Help plan and host virtual and in-person events for members
- Work with Community Engagement Specialists and Leads to check in on members and encourage participation
- Record details of interactions with members
- Help identify members who can serve as Wider Circle Ambassadors
- Connect with prospective members and develop individualized enrollment plans
- Serve as a liaison, connecting members to their health plans and each other
- Create partnerships with local community-based organizations
- Monitor membership engagement and growth goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in management, healthcare related field, or equivalent experience of at least 4 years
- 4-5 years of Experience in operations and management within a healthcare setting (health plan, managed care organization, etc.)
- Medicare experience a plus
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, while maintaining agility, strict attention to detail and forward momentum.
- Exceptional working knowledge of GSuite and Salesforce
