About the role
- Drive the product roadmap, product strategy and execution for a given problem space, balancing short and long-term goals.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and operations to bring new features and systems to life.
- Translate complex problems into clear requirements and simple, high-quality user experiences.
- Establish product metrics and experimentation frameworks to validate performance and user impact.
- Communicate progress, insights, and priorities across teams and stakeholders.
- Help the team stay focused and move efficiently, removing blockers and ensuring alignment.
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of Whatnot’s product culture and processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in fast-moving consumer or marketplace environments.
- A track record of shipping complex, technical systems or large-scale consumer products.
- Deep empathy for users and a passion for delivering outstanding user experiences and driving adoption of products.
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with data, hypotheses, and experimentation.
- A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution — able to zoom in and out as needed.
- Experience partnering with design and data science; proficiency with SQL is a plus.
