About the role
- Care and nursing of older adults with mental health conditions (e.g., dementia, depression, schizophrenia)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation in cases of challenging behavior
- Guidance and support for the nursing team in caring for gerontopsychiatric residents
- Participation in care planning and quality development within gerontopsychiatry
- Individualized care: You design care that truly reaches our residents
- Assistance with daily living: You provide support with empathy and initiative
- Competent medical care: You reliably carry out medical orders and monitor important vital signs
- Collaborative teamwork: You work closely with a committed and excellent team
Requirements
- Completed training as a nurse (generalist) or an equivalent basic nursing qualification, e.g., geriatric nurse or registered nurse
- Either completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist or willingness to undertake this qualification
- You are empathetic, communicative, reliable, a team player, respectful and appreciative, and committed to modern, professional care to maximize the well-being of each resident
