About the role
- Care and support for older adults with mental health conditions (e.g., dementia, depression, schizophrenia)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation for challenging behaviors
- Guidance and support for the nursing team in caring for gerontopsychiatric residents
- Participation in care planning and quality development in the field of gerontopsychiatry
- Individualized care: You design care that truly reaches our residents
- Assistance with daily living: You provide support with empathy and commitment
- Competent medical care: You safely carry out medical orders and monitor essential vital signs
- Collaborative teamwork: You work closely with an engaged and dedicated team
Requirements
- Completed training as a registered nurse (generalist) or an equivalent basic nursing qualification (e.g., geriatric nurse, health and nursing nurse)
- Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist or willingness to complete such training
- Empathetic, communicative, reliable, team-oriented, respectful, and appreciative
- Commitment to modern and professional care and support to achieve the highest possible well‑being for each of our residents
