Conduct advanced technical assessments across infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and DevOps
Translate technical findings into clear business risks and present them to senior leaders
Serve as a trusted advisor to IT and business stakeholders, offering practical recommendations and guidance
Mentor junior team members through project execution and skill development
Apply and interpret frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, SOC 2, GLBA, PCI, and FERPA
Recommend improvements to audit methodologies, tools, automation, and processes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, information systems, or related field
9 years of professional IT security experience, including 4 years in internal security auditing
Demonstrated success leading complex audit engagements and influencing positive security outcomes
Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Proficiency with audit management tools, data analytics platforms, and automated testing solutions
