About the role
- Set the multi-year strategy for a major product area within the 10-4 portfolio, ensuring alignment with WEX’s broader corporate growth goals.
- Move beyond "features" to develop robust business models.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, identifying emerging market trends in mobility and fintech.
- Lead the transition of 0-1 initiatives into scalable, high-performing features.
- Use a mix of deep customer empathy and rigorous data analysis to define experiments and prioritize initiatives.
- Direct 1–2 high-performing scrum teams, partnering with senior engineers to solve complex technical hurdles.
- Collaborate with UX and Analytics to conduct deep-dive research that leads to disruptive solutions.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a Senior or Lead PM role, ideally within a high-growth consumer fintech, mobile-first marketplace, or logistics tech environment.
- A proven track record of taking a product from concept to launch and then scaling it to a significant user base.
- Deep understanding of unit economics, P&L management, and the mechanics of consumer financial products (credit, payments, or rewards).
- Ability to collaborate with senior engineering talent on mobile architecture, API strategy, and data pipelines.
- A learning mindset with the ability to influence without authority, fostering a culture of transparency and high-velocity delivery.
