💰 €90,000 - €120,000 per year
About the role
- Shape payment risk management strategy and implement short-term actions to safely grow transaction volume
- Ensure user funds flow securely and smoothly from pay-in to payout while considering growth and revenue plans
- Lead Payment Risk & Fraud Management: identify risks, perform due diligence, run rapid escalation for fraud incidents
- Lead Payment Operations: manage disputes/chargebacks, fund recovery, and resolve operational issues with PSPs
- Manage and build in-house KYC/KYB and Payment Operations teams
- Implement and use tools (e.g., Persona for KYC/KYB automation, Stripe’s Radar for fraud prevention) and build dashboards
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, COO/CEO, PSPs and other stakeholders on compliance and incident response
- Update Prohibited Businesses list and review KYC/KYB SOPs for new segments
- Manage filing process of 1099K forms for applicable clients annually
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in payment risks/operations or fraud management
- Experience working for PSPs or closely with them; strong knowledge of the payments industry
- Owner mentality: strong commitment to team and customers and obsession with fighting fraudsters
- Effective team leader and communicator: experience managing teams of 10+ and working with C-suite
- Ability to create structures and frameworks to resolve ambiguous situations
- Willingness to be available for urgent escalations and incident response when needed
- Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus, but not required
