About the role
- Review upcoming switching needs and draft clear, accurate switching procedures.
- Submit switch plans for internal review and collaborate with reviewers to secure approval.
- Schedule approved switching activities and coordinate timing with the Control Center.
- Handoff switch plans to Control Center operators and follow up on questions or clarifications.
- Support outage coordination by prioritizing requests and managing communication with our teams.
- Ensure all switching work follows established safety guidelines.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Troubleman, Lineman, or in a similar distribution electrical role.
- Experience with distribution electrical systems and field operations.
- Experience with scheduling, planning, and managing concurrent requests.
- Oracle NMS experience is a plus.
