About the role

  • Support Lead Accountant and Accounting Manager with the preparation of closing checklist in Blackline and accounting calendar
  • Support legacy Non-SAP entity's trial balance feeds from non-US locations into SAP including mapping of legacy accounts
  • Provide advice to non-complex accounting and non-accounting questions from locations
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for these non-SAP entities
  • Prepare and review Blackline account reconciliations and journal entries for accounts under Global Accounting & Close organization
  • Perform and document internal controls outlined by Internal Audit and SOX organization
  • Support the external audit activities ensuring the integrity and timeliness of deliverables to the auditor
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in existing business practices and create standard operating procedures documentation for account reconciliations and journal entries performed globally
  • Assist as requested in other financial and accounting activities as determined by the Accounting Manager and VP of Global Accounting
  • Perform ad hoc requests to meet deliverable requirements for the Global Accounting & Close organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Degree in accounting or finance, preferred
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting role
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with SAP ERP, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation preferred
