About the role
- Oversee daily operations of the BHI Energy contract
- Manage safety and safe work performance for all personnel
- Ensure that all work is performed following design, budget, and schedule
- Assign work activities for efficiency and productivity that meets client established performance expectations
- Provide overall multi-site administrative and technical management expertise for maintenance and project work
- Supervise the BHI Energy contract at the assigned station/plant to ensure work is performed following design, budget and schedule
- Prepare or receive from team reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjust work schedules accordingly
- Order procurement of tools and materials to be delivered as per schedules
- Confer with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints
- Inspect work in progress to ensure specifications are met
- Plan, coordinate and manage on-site functions including scheduling and material control
- Assist Supervisors and lead in developing project procedures and operational processes
- Implement and ensure compliance with company and client policies
- Administer disciplinary action, warnings and coaching
- Analyze and resolve work related problems
- Verify and approve daily time sheets and track production of personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 5+ years of related supervisory experience in a power facility or related area of expertise
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Working knowledge of nuclear power equipment capabilities, nuclear power facility technical expertise, and a proven facility maintenance background
