About the role
- Under the guidance of SAP Supervisor-Project Systems, performs configuration research, testing, and recommendations for assigned modules to meet the defined business need, while following a prescribed schedule for production changes.
- Complete assigned work within defined scope, standards, and timelines, escalating risks to the supervisor as identified.
- Complete required functional, design, and changemanagement documentation for assigned changes.
- Follow the defined SAP system development lifecycle (SDLC) to analyze, configure, test, document, and implement solutions.
- Follow Westinghouse SAP change management processes, cybersecurity policies, and established standards and controls.
- Develop working knowledge of assigned SAP modules and their integrations and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with partners, SAP IT team members, IT, and external partners to provide solutions and services.
- Participate in team meetings, project work, training, and planning activities to support continuous improvement projects.
- Follow SAP best practices and Westinghouse standards in assigned work.
- Maintain standards and administration documentation as directed.
- Perform support activities to meet defined targets for customer satisfaction and cycle time.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions under guidance.
- Complete project tasks using established project management methodologies and documentation standards.
- Follow Westinghouse standards and controls within responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience with SAP Project Systems (PS), and an understanding of SAP security roles
- Required experience in SAP implementation project or Project Systems configuration
- Ability to work with other resources to troubleshoot issues/failures
- Experience creating job aids and other documentation
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience with SAP development procedures (change control, job scheduling, development methodologies, system landscape, application development, and back-up and recovery)
- Optional experience with change management principles
- Optional experience with Engineer To Order, Resource Capacity Planning, Project Scheduling, Project Controlling, Cross Application Time Sheets (CATS)
- Optional experience with Results Analysis, Forecasting, Profitability Analysis, Manufacturing, Resource Related Billing, interfaces and cross-modular integration
- Optional experience with export regulations such as ITAR, EAR, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
- Optional experience in the nuclear or controlled material industry.
- Optional Experience with S/4 HANA.
