  • As a APx Procurement Strategy you will be a detail-oriented , analytical and strategic individual contributor to support the development and execution of global procurement strategies for the construction of new nuclear power plants globally. This role will focus on cost modeling, supplier engagement and procurement execution ensuring alignment with regulatory, safety, technical and commercial requirements. You will report to the Energy Systems Procurement Strategy Manager. This position has the opportunity to be remote.
  • Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for nuclear plant construction projects globally. Set the framework for supplier selection, qualification, and negotiation processes in collaboration with engineering, legal, and regulatory teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategy with costing assumptions, project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements. Develop and maintain procurement dashboards, KPIs , and reporting tools to support executive decision-making. Prepare and present procurement performance reports, cost analyses, and strategic insights to company leadership. Analyze supplier proposals, market data, cost drivers, and risk factors to inform sourcing decisions and contract structures. Contribute to supplier qualification, contract development, and negotiation processes. Ensure procurement activities comply with international nuclear regulations and internal governance standards. Participate in industry forums and regulatory engagements related to nuclear supply chain development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the nuclear industry or similarly regulated sectors (e.g., power generation, aerospace, defense).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in cost modeling, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly, including experience working across cultures and geographies.
  • Familiarity with international nuclear regulatory frameworks (e.g., NRC, CNSC, IAEA, PAA).
  • Experience with large capital projects and EPC contract structures preferred.
