• Stand up and continuously improve an enterprise SharePoint Online repository for governance documents, including information architecture, metadata/taxonomy, content types, versioning, permissions, retention, search, and workflow automation
• Define and socialize the governance documentation framework (scope, definitions, document types, naming conventions, approval paths, lifecycle controls)
• Partner with across Western Digital to identify required policies and process documentation, and to aggregate and organize existing governance artifacts (guidelines, procedures, standards, charters, playbooks)
• Work with document owners/SMEs to draft or update policies and procedures, ensure clarity and consistency, and apply WD branding and numbering standards
• Guide owners through approvals; manage publishing, review cycles, and controlled updates on defined cadence (e.g., annual/biannual), maintaining audit‑ready evidence and traceability
• Establish controls and documentation that meet internal audit, SOX, ISO/QMS, data governance, and security requirements

• Partner with customers, business allies, and internal teams to achieve strategic objectives
• Identify and nurture new business opportunities and customers, driving revenue growth and differentiating our business unit in the Cloud Provider, AI Infrastructure, High Performance Computing, FinTech, Regional OEM, and Systems Integrator segments

Director, Business Development – Storage Platforms

Manager

• Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audit engagements across infrastructure, applications, ITGCs, and cybersecurity.
• Conduct IT SOX control testing, including ITGCs, automated controls (ITACs), IPE, and system access reviews across ERP (Oracle) and key business systems.
• Assess system changes, configurations, and integrations to ensure compliance with WD’s IT policies and SOX requirements.
• Identify control deficiencies, root causes, and actionable recommendations, ensuring timely management remediation.
• Support coordination with external auditors (KPMG) to align on scope, approach, and reliance opportunities.
• Ensure all audit documentation is complete and accurate in AuditBoard in accordance with IA methodology and professional standards.
• Partner with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to identify and assess technology and cyber risks within the enterprise risk framework.
• Evaluate IT governance and control maturity, providing insights on opportunities to enhance policies, processes, and automation.
• Support audits and advisory reviews over major initiatives such as system implementations, cloud transformation, AI enablement, and system decommissioning.
• Stay informed on evolving IT regulations (e.g., PCAOB, SEC, data privacy, etc.) and industry trends to enhance WD’s control posture.
• Build strong partnerships with IT, Information Security, Finance, and other global functions to promote a culture of risk awareness and control excellence.
• Communicate audit results, risk insights, and recommendations clearly to management across geographies.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned by the CAE or Senior Director.
• Provide direction and coaching to staff auditors, including WD’s India-based resources and co-sourced partners.

• Oversee operational excellence across online marketplaces (Walmart, TikTok Shop, eBay, etc.) and, as needed, for the Sandisk online store.
• Ensure smooth execution of catalog management, inventory management, order fulfillment, compliance, and customer experience across all digital sales channels.
• Manage product uploads, pricing updates, and catalog accuracy.
• Monitor forward and reverse logistics and resolve operational issues promptly to adhere to marketplace policies and meet customer expectations.
• Support customer case management and submit disputes when needed to marketplace platforms.
