About the role
- Act as the primary marketing partner for Canada, collaborating closely with sales, regional marketing, and operations teams
- Develop market-level strategy and plans aligned to regional and global business objectives
- Apply advanced understanding of the Canadian market to inform prioritization, planning, and recommendations
- Lead the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing initiatives across multiple channels (e.g., retail, e-commerce, digital, campaigns, events)
- Maximize ROI on marketing development funds (MDF) against IMP goals
- Adapt and localize regional/global marketing programs to ensure effectiveness in the Canadian market
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution
- Define KPIs and success metrics for Canadian marketing initiatives
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, and apply insights to optimize plans
- Provide market conditions updates, best practices, suggestions, and ideas to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree in Marketing preferred
- 6-8+ years of experience in channel marketing or related field, preferably in the technology industry
- Strong understanding of the Canadian market - retail, etail, and distribution channels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Experience supporting product launches or integrated go-to-market initiatives
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Fluency in English and French required
- Experience working within a global or regional marketing organization
- Proven track record of developing successful channel marketing programs
- Ability to travel within Canada and USA as needed for partner meetings and events
