About the role

  • provide SME expertise in your respective domain
  • lead activities to review current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness
  • identify constraints or opportunities that inhibit or accelerate the business and technology strategy
  • design customer journey maps and workflows for the Digital Account Origination platform
  • ensure the process meets bank and regulatory requirements for onboarding customers and accounts
  • develop options or approaches to improve business outcomes
  • drive implementation of solutions to achieve desired results
  • accountable for the development and review of artifacts to ensure they accurately describe current state processes, practices, and/or metrics
  • determine root cause for constraints in the process
  • engage with enterprise subject matter experts and stakeholders to tackle complex issues or opportunities
  • capture current state insights while also providing options and recommendations to the identified stakeholders
  • identify, socialize, and gather necessary approvals for KRIs, KPIs, and Operational Metrics
  • work on data analysis, data mapping, and ensure the requirements are clear to design interfaces and integrations
  • provide production support, timely resolution of incidents, and communication to business stakeholders
  • convert business requirements into system specifications
  • document it in tools like Confluence and Azure DevOps
  • define the work breakdown structure for all involved teams
  • set and meet the deadlines for that work
  • lead discussions to gather requirements and review artifacts
  • resolve issues that impede progress
  • develop list of critical documentation and artifacts to meet project objectives
  • complete high-quality deliverables and effectively communicate learnings, findings, impacts, and next steps with subject matter experts or project stakeholders

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Experience working as an IT/Systems analyst for enterprise platforms and initiatives, and within the financial services industry
  • Experience working with cross functional business and IT stakeholders
  • Technical experience in data, integrations (API, Batch), SaaS and Cloud native platforms
  • Experience in SDLC, ITSM, and Agile methodology is highly desirable
  • Industry certifications such as PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional Certified Product Owner is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Advanced to expert in process and data analysis within one or two domains or functional areas with deep critical thinking skills
  • Experience working as a SME across one or two domains or functional areas
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
  • Previous Leadership experience is preferred
  • Preferred experience in working on digital transformation programs, Core (such as FIS IBS, Fiserv, Flexcube) and Digital Account Origination platforms (such as Temenos Journey Manager, Mantl, Jack Henry)
