About the role
- Responsible for leading the organization’s data reporting and analytics strategy
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced reporting solutions and analytics frameworks
- Lead a team of analysts and managers
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure data initiatives align with business goals
- Uphold data integrity, develop and enhance data analytics in collaboration with IT
- Present actionable insights to C-suite and senior leaders
- Budget and resource allocation to support data projects
- Define and execute overall reporting and analytics strategy
- Oversee development of advanced analytics models, dashboards, and reporting solutions
- Lead complex data analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Establish and maintain data governance policies and practices
- Act as a key business partner to senior leadership
- Monitor team workload and conduct performance evaluations
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred
- Previous leadership experience required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Advanced to expert experience and expertise with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven experience in developing reporting frameworks, automating reporting processes, and delivering data-driven insights
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
- Advanced experience working cross-functionally, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading strategic initiatives based on data insights
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Expert speaking and writing communication skills.
