  • Job Summary: Software Engineer for Shop Floor Systems to develop/maintain client-server/ASP.NET VB/.NET Core components with SQL Server.
  • Essential Duties: Write high-quality code; develop/test/deploy/monitor/ support solution in DevOps; build scalable, robust, secure solutions; transform requirements to specs; estimate work; collaborate on prototypes; other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience
  • Solid experience with VB, C#, .NET Core
  • Development of Microsoft SQL Server database stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Development of ASP.NET HTTP/HTTPS web-based application components
  • Designing and building highly scalable, available and resilient solution architecture
  • Developing in an Agile methodology with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
  • Various code repositories like Git, TFS, etc
  • Prior development experience with .NET, .NET Core, VB, C#, WPF, ASP.NET MVC
  • Utilizing OPC UA to interface with equipment
  • GMP and/or regulated environment experience
  • Experience utilizing and programming with Seagull Scientific Bartender Label System APK
  • Willingness to travel domestically and potentially globally
  • Able to comply with SOPs and safety/quality policies
