About the role
- Provide HR support services for the business in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
- Consults with managers and supervisors regarding employee performance issues and assists with the disciplinary process.
- Ensure consistency with regard to application of rules and regulations.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with partners, suppliers, service vendors, employees and internal and external customers.
- Manage HR paperwork and systems including new hires, transfers, attendance tracking, pay, badging, termination, filing, postings and announcements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current HR programs and recommend changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in human resource management, legal or related field required
- 5+ years of HR employee relations specialized experience required
- Familiarity with workplace laws, regulations, employment trends, strong understanding of labor law, collective agreements, unions and works councils.
- Strong communication both written and oral.
- Experience with HR business systems (i.e. Ultimate, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) and MS Office applications.
- Prior pharmaceutical and manufacturing experience in an industrial setting.
