About the role
- Supervise production processes and personnel in assigned field
- Responsible for adherence to procedures, proper production, quality, maintenance, safety and schedules
- Promote effective team member/Company relations to help improve customer service and Company profits
- Oversee day-to-day production activities of plant products at economical cost
- Create short-interval look-ahead production schedules
- Promote all site initiatives including plant safety programs and lean initiatives
- Assure adherence to Standard Operating Instructions and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Manage available resources to ensure on time production and delivery of customer orders
- Verify production data accurately recorded
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree technical or business-related field required
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment required
- Must have effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Moderate knowledge of computer programs and SPC applications
- Able to comply with the company's safety policy at all times
- Health Services\First Aid Certification Upon Hire preferred or Health Services\CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire preferred
