About the role
- Supervise production processes & personnel to produce pharmaceutical stoppers on assigned shifts
- Responsible & accountable for adherence to procedures, proper production, quality, maintenance, safety & schedules on assigned shifts
- Promote effective team member/Company relations to help improve customer service & Company profits
- Oversee the day-to-day production activities of plant pharmaceutical products at the most economical cost
- Create short-interval look-ahead production schedules
- Promote all site initiatives including plant safety programs, lean initiatives, training programs, etc.
- Assure Standard Operating Instructions and Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to
- Participate in the resolution of employee complaints and personnel or performance issues
- Routinely evaluate and review employee performance
- Manage available resources to ensure on-time production and delivery of customer orders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior supervisory experience
- Must have effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Moderate knowledge of computer programs and SPC applications
- Continual certification in First Aid/CPR will be required upon hire if not previously attained
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times
