About the role
- Govern and provide expert advice and analysis on all standard cost updates
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure accurate bills of materials and routings
- Partner with master data and DBI teams to implement best practices in product costing
- Analyze global variances to ensure accuracy of Standard Costs
- Ensure integrity of the EEP legacy SAP environment and maintain data
- Participate in S4 Hana go-lives and other SAP initiatives as subject matter expert
- Ensure appropriate controls and compliance with US GAAP
- Support and assist in global initiatives relating to cost accounting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business with concentration in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of experience
- Understanding of and experience working in manufacturing environments and the associated financial processes
- Experience partnering and collaborating with supply chain, warehousing, and manufacturing teams
- Extensive knowledge of SAP, including implementation experience
- Strong ability to assess problem situations and generate possible solutions
- Ability to effectively analyze transactional level detail in an ERP system and communicate findings to senior management
- Ability to multi-task and drive actions to completion under strict deadlines
- Understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems (such as Power BI)
