About the role
- Manage the product costing process for West’s production plants and distribution centers
- Interact with many departments across the organization as a trusted partner
- Provide expert advice and analysis on all standard cost updates
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement
- Analyze global variances to ensure accuracy of Standard Costs
- Ensure integrity of the EEP legacy SAP environment
- Support and assist in global initiatives relating to cost accounting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business with concentration in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of experience
- Understanding of and experience working in manufacturing environments
- Experience partnering with supply chain, warehousing, and manufacturing teams
- Extensive knowledge of SAP, including implementation experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems (such as Power BI)
- Understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
