About the role
- Review, clip, and edit video content, ensuring all content matches style guides provided
- Review, and edit images to create a compelling visual customer experience
- Review, and edit content metadata, to ensure all data remains accurate
- Watching live games and tracking statistics
- Communicating relevant scenarios in real-time
- Writing copy and sports-related editorial
- Researching, stat tracking, and verifying accuracy of the content
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Available to work nights, weekends, and game days, as assigned
- Passion for sports, and story-telling through engaging video and written content, with strong emphasis on North American soccer
- Ability to follow style guides, with editorial story-telling instincts
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, with ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow, track, and review inbound video content of multiple sporting events, simultaneously while maintaining extremely high content standards
- Strong research skills
- Previous experience with video editing tools (iMovie, Premier Pro, etc.), a plus
- Previous experience with Content Management Systems, a plus
- Previous experience with creating sports highlight packages, a plus
