About the role
- Participate in analysis, design, and development of risk platform enhancements aligned to the data strategy and target state architecture
- Analyze/interpret the Data Modernization strategy across impacted disciplines, and develop and implement best-of-class data solutions
- Partner with Business and Technology to formalize business requirements and translate them into detailed technical requirements
- Participate in Agile-based workstreams via use of Jira and assist with refinement and adherence to Wells Fargo Agile Adoption Methodology
- Assure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met
- Review and evaluate user needs and determine requirements; conduct research and resolve problems and recommend solutions and process improvements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; support implementation of solutions spanning multiple teams
- Work with advanced mathematical models, theoretical pricing, statistical and stochastic models, VaR, PFE, IMM, and stress testing
Requirements
- 2+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Agile experience
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- 2+ years of Data Engineering Analysis
- Desired: 2+ years experience with SQL/Excel, Data Supply Chain management
- Desired: 2+ years experience change management, release coordination, and delivery
- Desired: 2+ years knowledge and understanding of trade data management for reporting and quantitative analytics
- Desired: 2+ year knowledge and understanding of risk measures and calculations (VaR, CVA, PFE, dv01, delta, vega, gamma)
- A BS/BA degree or higher
