About the role

  • Lead and deliver complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain of environments
  • Translate technology experience into technical engineering solutions
  • Contribute to large-scale planning and strategy development for technology solutions
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review and address complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of process and procedures
  • Resolve technical issues and lead team(s) to meet client needs, leveraging a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve project goals
  • Act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  • Lead projects and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years developing microservices and working with MongoDB and Kafka
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with container-based technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • 3+ years of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • 7+ years API Microservices development and delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms (Desired)
  • 7+ years of engineering experience in leading/coding/managing Core Banking applications (Desired)
  • 5+ years designing and developing GenAI-powered applications using LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, etc.) (Desired)
  • 5+ years of Test Automation development experience (Desired)
  • Strong familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, compliance constraints, and responsible AI practices (Desired)
  • Ability to troubleshoot analyze performance bottlenecks (Desired)
  • Experience with one or more Observability/Monitoring tools: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, TrueSight (Desired)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills (Desired)
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a fast-paced team environment (including onshore and offshore) (Desired)
  • Experience designing large language models (LLM) prompt engineering, prompt chaining, and evaluation frameworks (Desired)
