About the role
- Identify and research new technologies, solutions, and deep learning capabilities
- Act as a top subject matter expert to lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex challenges
- Develop and implement a data management, data quality or metadata research plan
- Influence and teach others in new areas by writing papers, delivering presentations, leading courses and curriculum
- Strategically lead and engage with all levels of professionals and managers with technical guidance and direction
Requirements
- 10+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience
- Proven experience leading end-to-end data initiatives across cross functional teams (business, data, technology, operations, etc.)
- Strong background in data modeling (conceptual/logical)
- Familiarity with modern data architecture and platforms
- Experience implementing or operating metadata management, lineage, and data catalogs
- Demonstrated success with data-as-a-product practices (product lifecycle, adoption metrics, user engagement)
- Experience implementing AI capabilities and supporting AI data frameworks
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory expectations in banking
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data / technical concepts into business value at all levels of the organization
