About the role
- Manage and develop client coverage materials
- Build financial models and support various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
- Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
- Prepare presentations and other materials and memos for clients and internal committees
- Present recommendations for resolving business challenges and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Develop, train and support Analysts, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the team
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits and other client interactions during which they gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
Requirements
- 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's Degree with coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance or MBA
- 2+ years of relevant investment banking experience
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a demanding, highly focused, deadline driven, fast paced team environment, with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
