About the role
- Deliver customized payment processing and merchant technology solutions to small‑ and medium‑sized business clients
- Partner with Retail Banking teams to drive referrals, support sales activities, and expand business relationships
- Proactively prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities within your territory
- Assess client needs and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth
- Navigate policies, procedures, and compliance standards while exercising sound judgment
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless and positive client experience
- Build lasting relationships through effective communication, presentations, and follow‑up
Requirements
- 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in banking or financial services
- Business-to-business (B2B) sales background
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong prospecting, influence, and relationship-building skills
- Confident presentation skills with diverse client and stakeholder groups
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote, structured environment
- Strong organizational skills, including proficiency with CRM systems
